Welcome to our intimate cooking school located in the Luberon or in Nice. Join our Chef on the marketplace to experience the shopping, to improve your knowledge about organic produces, agriculture methods, and to meet farmers and local producers. From booth to booth, our Chef will talk about the beautiful fruits, vegetables and other ingredients that make the Provence cuisine so special (honey, olive oil, herbs, goat cheese, etc.). He will explain the varieties, and provide tips to prepare these produce on the best way. Each recipe you will learn about uses fresh seasonal produce.
Back to the kitchen, you wash hands, tight your apron, and start preparing a delicious well-balanced 3 or 4-course menu including an amuse-bouche, a starter, a main course, and a dessert. Recipes pay tribute to the delightful Provence and Mediterranean cuisine, and it's simplified for home cooks. Considering that many people have a limited time to prepare lunches and dinners, our teaching includes organization topics that contribute to spare time in preparations.
Our credo “eat well to feel good". When you cook, you leave processed food aside, you eliminate preservatives, food colorings, bad fat and refined sugar. Once again, cooking is the basis of a healthy life!
Sample menus can include Petits Farcis stuffed Mediterranean vegetables, Pissaladière onion tart with anchovies and black olives, artichokes Barigoule, Bell peppers and basil fresh goat cheese millefeuille-style, Mediterranean fish (sea bass, sea bream, red mullets…) or Rack of lamb and Tian Provençal eggplants, zucchinis, onions and tomatoes baked with fresh thyme and olive oil, Roasted peaches with lemon verbena, Pistachio and berries crumble, Apricots and lavender tartlet, and more…
Our cooking lessons are always hands-on and taught in English. It's been designed for amateurs, for individuals or small groups of up to 8 participants. Gourmet tasting lunch accompanied by wine, mineral water, tea or coffee follows each class.
Program starts at 9am and ends at around 3pm.
