Once upon a time, the French Pâtisseries...

City of arts and history, symbol of glamour and elegance, Paris gains an international recognition for its exquisite pastries and desserts. Your upcoming holiday in the City of Light will give you the chance to treat yourself with these little French and Parisian delights in a restaurant or a Salon de Thé. You will certainly enter a pastry shop to buy pastries you will like the most by its presentation and flavors and enjoy it later.

Most of French pastries tell a story, created by a Chef in a certain period of the history.
It’s the case of the Saint-Honoré, the colorful Éclairs and other Choux Puffs that we owe to Antonin Carême who served at the Court of France in the 18th century. The Millefeuille, a superposition of three layers of puff pastry with vanilla cream in between, is a recipe created by François-Pierre de la Varenne in the 17th century. The caramelized apple Tatin tart served upside-down is it really a happy mistake ? Do you know who invented it ? The delicious little Madeleines and the exquisite Crème Brûlée also have secrets and history… you will learn it in the class!

Join our Pastry Chef in the kitchen to partake in a Baking Class in Paris!

Our classes are ALL hands-on and designed for small groups of up to 8 people.
The course is operated in a Baking school, located in downtown Paris, steps to a metro station.
The pastry and dessert class last 2 ½ hours, scheduled in the afternoon at 2:30pm.

You will learn how to prepare and to bake two or three French classics from scratch such as:
– Strawberry Tart,
– Paris Brest,
– Lemon Madeleines & Financiers,
– Chocolate Lava cake,
– Grand Marnier Soufflé,
– Crème Brûlée, etc.
You will get the recipes in English.

You will enjoy the fruits of your labor after the class, accompanied by tea of coffee or fresh drink.
As you will stand up during the class time, we recommend you to wear comfortable and close-toe shoes.


PROGRAM PRICE: $170 per person
Tea, coffee and mineral water to accompany the pastry and the dessert is offered after the class.

The Macarons hands-on Class is offered upon request, scheduled Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10am.
