COOKING CLASS
Welcome to our cooking school to experience the French traditional cuisine through a hands-on class.You will learn how to prepare and to cook a well-balanced 3-course menu from scratch, including a starter, a main course and a dessert that you will enjoy afterwards. You will improve your skills in peeling chopping, slicing, etc. Your will learn the right cooking methods.
Menus are created with fresh seasonal produce from the market. It can include Onion soup, Duck breast in orange sauce, Veal stew, Boeuf bourguignon, Chicken made-in-Normandy, Rack of Lamb topped with a herbs crust, Sautéed scallops with leeks and Noilly-Prat sauce, Chocolate lava-cake and raspberry sauce, Lemon Tart, etc.
Cooking class is scheduled Saturday morning at 10:30am. It’s taught in English, and it’s designed for small groups of up to 6 people. Program ends around 2:30pm after lunch.
BAKING CLASS
France is internationally known for its exquisite delicate pastry, and awesome presentation of desserts by the plate. For more than 2 hours, you will learn the right methods to make 2 or 3 French classics from scratch, such as choux puffs (basis for Eclairs, Saint-Honoré, Paris-Brest, Profiteroles, Chouquettes), Madeleines, Grand Marnier soufflé, etc.
This class is scheduled Thursday from 2:30pm to 5pm. Tasting accompanied by drinks follows the class.
FOOD WALKING TOUR ∼ GOURMET EXPERIENCES
Each day will be a gourmet adventure with us! Aside to cultural visits and walks through Paris quaint quarters, you will be delighted by delicious luncheons and dinners.
You will also experience a 3-hour food walking tour through Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the Latin Quarter. This tour is scheduled Friday morning at 10:15am. You will visit local boutiques, artisanal shops, markets, and cafes where you will enjoy flaky croissants, heavenly chocolate and a classic combination of superb cheeses and wine.
