PARIS CULINARY ADVENTURE TOUR HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR YOU!

Secret Paris Culinary Adventure is a Lifestyle Vacations France’s exclusive tour featuring the greatest values of Paris and France through its arts, history, heritage, traditions, culture, food and wine.
Our program includes a 4-night boutique-hotel accommodation located in a 8th arrondissement safe and quiet quarter, cooking and baking classes, guided cultural tours and gourmet experiences.

You will learn the secrets of the French cuisine through two hands-on cooking and baking lessons. You will partake in a gourmet walking tour through Saint-Germain-des-Prés historic quarter to experience the best food and wine that Paris has to offer.

You will stroll across the secret spots that Paris features, far from crowded tourists places. You will also enjoy the Paris sweet life when you seat at the terrace of a café in sipping a glass of wine or another drink of your choice.

MARKET COOKING CLASS
Welcome to our cooking school to experience the Parisian market and the French cuisine through a hands-on class.After making the food shopping with the Chef, you will learn how to prepare and to cook a well-balanced 3-course menu from scratch, including a starter, a main course and a dessert that you will enjoy afterwards. You will improve your skills in peeling chopping, slicing, etc. Your will learn the right cooking methods.
Menus are created with fresh seasonal produce from the market. It can include Onion soup, Duck breast in orange sauce, Veal stew, Boeuf bourguignon, Chicken made-in-Normandy, Rack of Lamb topped with a herbs crust, Sautéed scallops with leeks and Noilly-Prat sauce, Chocolate lava-cake and raspberry sauce, Lemon Tart, etc.
Program starts at 9am and it ends at 1pm after lunch.
The class is taught in English, and it’s designed for amateurs in a small group.

BAKING CLASS
France is internationally known for its exquisite delicate pastry, and awesome presentation of desserts by the plate. For more than 2 hours, you will learn the right methods to make 2 or 3 French classics from scratch, such as choux puffs (basis for Eclairs, Saint-Honoré, Paris-Brest, Profiteroles, Chouquettes), Madeleines, Grand Marnier soufflé, etc.
Class is scheduled from 2pm to 4:30pm. Tasting accompanied by drinks follows the class.

FOOD LOVER’S WALKING TOUR ∼ GOURMET EXPERIENCES
Each day will be a gourmet adventure with us! Aside to cultural visits and walks through Paris quaint quarters, you will be delighted by delicious luncheons and dinners.
You will also experience a unique food walking tour through Saint-Germain-des-Prés or Le Marais. You will visit local boutiques, artisanal shops, markets, and cafes where you will enjoy flaky croissants, heavenly chocolate and a classic combination of superb cheeses and wine.

Day 1 – Good morning Paris! ∼ Airport transfer ∼ Welcome Dinner

Day 2 – Cultural guided walking tour ∼ Baking Class
After breakfast, meet us at your hotel at 9am.
Morning cultural guided tour featuring Paris iconic quarters that you will explore off-the-beaten paths.
Lunch break.
Afternoon hands-on pastry and dessert class starting at 2pm followed by tastings accompanied by tea, coffee and/or fresh drink.
Late afternoon free at your leisure.

Day 3 – Market Cooking Class from 9am to 1pm ∼ Time free at your leisure
After breakfast, you will go to the cooking school by metro or bus or taxi.
You will enjoy the market tour with the Chef, and learn how to choose the right seasonal produce.
Back to the cooking school, you will partake in a 3-hour cooking class to prepare and to cook a well-balanced 3-course meal which will be followed by tasting lunch accompanied by wine.
Afternoon free for visits and shopping.

Overnight.

Day 4 – Time free at your leisure ∼ Food Lover’s walking tour ∼
After breakfast, time free for exploring Paris or relaxing.
Lunch break on your own.
At 2pm, meet our tour guide in Saint-Germain-des-Prés or Le Marais district to experience a Food Lover’s walking tour. You will stroll through historical quarters while enjoy the best that Paris offers. Along the way, you will visit boutiques, bakeries and cafés serving regional French specialties such as cheeses and sausages, wine and escargot (or another seasonal dish), and deluxe baked goods.

Day 5 – Check out ∼ Airport transfer ∼ End of the tour
