Welcome to the French Alps, from the lake of Annecy to the Aravis, Vanoise and Mont-Blanc mountains, featuring rejuvenate environments, pastures stuffed with wildflowers, high snow-capped peaks, historic towns, picturesque villages adorned with geraniums, gourmet adventures, and alive art craft traditions.

Taste of the French Alps program includes a 5-night private chalet accommodation located in a traditional farming village, a few miles away to the lake of Annecy.

Taste of the French Alps culinary tour offers a perfect combination of gourmet adventures and visits throughout the Savoie region.
♦ You will enjoy the alive market of La Clusaz picturesque village and the visit to an authentic cheese farm
♦ You will stroll across Annecy historic quarter with a tour-guide to admire the numerous 16th- and 17th-century buildings painted in shades of peach and rose which house restaurants, bakeries, tiny boutiques and designers shops. Annecy earns its reputation of the Alpine Venice thanks to the canals trickling through the town
♦ You will indulge in Chamonix mountaineering traditions and enjoy a cogwheel train ride to the highest summits. A ride on the Tramway du Mont-Blanc takes you to Bellevue station. Take the cogwheel train for an effortless assault on the summits. Jeanne, Marie or Anne will take you to the gates of the high mountains, to the delight of your eyes… and your legs!

Taste of the French Alps celebrates the traditional French and Savoie’s cuisine through hands-on cooking classes in the chalet as well as gourmet experiences in traditional gourmet restaurants.
Program includes two cooking classes.
You will learn how to prepare and cook well balanced meals including a starter, a main course and a dessert, celebrating the French traditional cuisine paired with the Savoie fine white and red wines.

Day 1 (Sunday) ∼ Welcome to Geneva airport and transfer to France!
Pick-up at Geneva international airport.
Transfer to the chalet located in Haute-Savoie. Check-in. Time free at your leisure.
Welcome aperitif and dinner in the chalet.
Overnight.

Day 2 (Monday) ∼ Market Cooking Class 1 ∼ Wellbeing massage
After breakfast, transfer to La Clusaz for the market tour and shopping.
Transfer to the chalet. Noon Cooking class followed by lunch.
Relaxing time.
One hour Wellbeing massage nearby the chalet.
Light dinner in the chalet.
Overnight.

Day 3 (Tuesday) ∼ Easy mountain walk ∼ Lunch break in a farm ∼ Cooking class 2 ∼ Dinner in the chalet
After breakfast, meet Bernard our local tour guide for a recreational and educational mountain walk (easy level) on the Plateau de Beauregard. You will improve your knowledge about wild medicinal and eatable herbs and flowers while observing the marmots.
Lunch break at La Ferme de Lorette or similar.
Two-hour cooking class starting at 5:30pm, followed by the food and wine pairing dinner in the chalet.
Overnight.

Day 4 (Wednesday) ∼ Chamonix and Saint-Gervais full-day Tour including a cogwheel train adventure
After breakfast, transfer to Chamonix.
Saint-Gervais Le Fayet cogwheel train through forests, tunnels, and viaducts to get to a Bellevue at a 5,905 ft altitude to offer a breathtaking view on the summits, glaciers and the high peaks including the Mont-Blanc.
La Chalette light lunch.
Walking tour in Chamonix and time free at your leisure.
Gourmet dinner in a restaurant nearby.
Overnight.

Day 5 (Thursday) ∼ Annecy cultural tour in the morning ∼ Cheese aging farm experience
Breakfast in the chalet.
Two hour cultural tour through the historic quarter starting at 10am
12:30pm Lunch in Annecy (Racines or similar)
2:30pm: Paccard cheese aging caves visit for about 1h30. Cheese tasting follows.
Back to the chalet for resting.
Farewell Dinner in the chalet
Overnight.

Day 6 (Friday) ∼ Check-out / End of the tour.
After breakfast, transfer to Geneva international airport.
End of the tour.
