Join Corinne in her private chalet overlooking the Aravis mountains to experience the French cuisine while enjoying historic towns, quaint villages and mesmerizing landscapes through guided tours, visits, excursions and connections with local people.

Welcome to the French Alps, from the lake of Annecy to the Aravis, Vanoise and Mont-Blanc mountains, featuring rejuvenate environments, pastures stuffed with wildflowers, high snow-capped peaks, historic towns, picturesque villages adorned with geraniums, gourmet adventures, and alive art craft traditions. A Taste of the French Alps program includes a 6-night luxury privatized chalet accommodation in a traditional farming village a few miles distance to the lake of Annecy.


PROGRAM HIGHLIHTS

Enjoy the alive market of La Clusaz picturesque village as well as the >strong>visit to an authentic cheese farm.
Join Corinne for a private guided tour of Annecy historic town featuring numerous 16th- and 17th-century buildings painted in shades of peach and rose, and housing restaurants, bakeries and tiny shops and designers boutiques. Canals trickle through town, earning Annecy its reputation as an 'Alpine Venice'.
Indulge in Chamonix mountaineering traditions and enjoy a cogwheel train ride to the glaciers. Stop at the Montenvers station and restaurant for a lunch break and a panoramic view over the highest peaks.

A Taste of the French Alps celebrates the traditional French and Savoie's cuisine through hands-on cooking classes in the chalet and gourmet experiences in casual and Michelin-starred restaurants such as Yoann Conte**, Auberge du Père Bise by Chef Jean Sulpice** or Le Clos des Sens by Chef Laurent Petit.
Program includes 4 cooking lessons scheduled in the morning or late in the afternoon. You will learn how to prepare and cook well balanced meals including a starter, a main course and a dessert, and celebrating the French traditional cuisine paired with the fine white and red wines of the Savoie region.

A relaxing summer holiday has to include Wellness!
You will experience a full-body massage in Le Grand Bornand Spa aside to relaxing time in the chalet which has a heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna.


PRIVATE LUXURY ALPINE CHALET & SPA ACCOMMODATION

Our Alpine Chic chalet is located in a traditional farming village of the Aravis Mountains, 15 miles distance from Annecy and the lake shore. In summer this alpine Eden is a perfect rejuvenating spot in a stunning environment: green valleys, gentle slopes and traditional chalets, bulb bell-tower churches, farm where the flavorful Reblochon cheese is made.

Our entirely renovated and elegantly decorated private chalet spanning over three floors has two west and south oriented terraces to enjoy breathtaking views, especially at the sunset. Our chalet offers eight bedrooms with private en-suite baths (jacuzzi bath tubs or walk-in showers) and all modern comfort. Amenities include WiFi, flat screen TV's with international channels, washing machine and dryer, board and iron, fully equipped kitchens, BBQ, etc. You will find hairdryers, bathrobes, and towels in each bathroom.

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the dining room or on the terrace if the weather allows. Relax in the wellness room with large windows overlooking the mountains. Here's the heated pool and jacuzzi, and the sauna further!


ITINERARY

Day 1 (Sunday): Welcome to Geneva and the French Alps
Pick-up at Geneva international airport (morning or afternoon)
Transfer to the chalet nearby Annecy. Check-in.
Time free at your leisure.
Welcome Aperitif à la Française and review of the weekly itinerary together.
Dinner accompanied by wine at the chalet
Overnight.

Day 2 ( Monday): La Clusaz market tour / Cheese farm / Cooking Class in the chalet
After breakfast, transfer to La Clusaz (10 mn distance drive).
Market tour in the village followed by the visit to the cheese farm.
Traditional lunch in the farm.
Afternoon walk in the village and time free at your leisure for shopping. But if you decide, you can relax in the chalet.
Cooking class scheduled at 5pm.
Tasting dinner accompanied by wine.
Overnight.

Day 3 (Tuesday) – Chamonix & Megève full-day excursion
After breakfast, transfer to Chamonix (it takes approx. 1h15).
Discover La Mer de Glace stunning glaciers panorama through a train ride through forests, tunnels, and viaducts to reach an altitude of 6,290 ft.
Lunch at Le Refuge du Montenvers restaurant.
Transfer to the chalet through downtown Chamonix & Megève chic village.
Dinner at the chalet.
Overnight.

Day 4 (Wednesday) - Cooking class in the chalet / Guided walking tour in Annecy / Boat ride on the lake / Michelin-starred dinner
Breakfast at the chalet.
Morning cooking class starting at 9:30am, followed by lunch.
Transfer to Annecy to enjoy a gentle walk in the historic quarter, followed by a 2-hour boat ride on the lake with an aperitif on board.
7pm: Gourmet dinner in a Michelin-star restaurant on the lake shore.
Transfer to the chalet.
Overnight.

Day 5 (Thursday) – Cooking class / Easy mountain walk / Gourmet dinner
Breakfast at the chalet.
Morning cooking class starting at 9:30am, followed by a noon lunch.
Afternoon guided recreational and educational mountain walk (easy level) starting at 2pm . You will improve your knowledge about wild medicinal and eatable herbs and flowers while observing the marmots.
Gourmet dinner in a traditional alpine restaurant.
Overnight

Day 6 (Friday) – Wellbeing massage / Walk through Le Grand Bornand village / Cooking Class / Farewell gourmet dinner in the chalet
Breakfast at the chalet.
Morning one-hour wellbeing massage and walk/shopping at your leisure in the village.
Light lunch in a traditional auberge.
Afternoon cooking class starting at 4pm, followed by a farewell food & wine pairing dinner.
Overnight.

Day 10 (Saturday) – Check-out / End of the tour
After breakfast, transfer to Geneva international airport.
End of the tour.
